After opening with a one-over-par 73 for a position inside the top 20, Paula Reto was unable to keep her momentum in the second round of the Symetra Tour Championship at River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina as she crashed to a 10-over 82 in the second round to miss the cut.

A run of three consecutive bogeys in the first four holes put her on the back foot early on, and three more ahead of the turn saw her with a mountain to climb on her homeward nine. However, four more bogeys saw her slump to 11-over for the tournament, with the cut falling on eight-under.

That will leave her in no position to improve her 26th spot on the Volvik Race for the Card, in which 10 players get access to the main LPGA Tour circuit.
