Nobuhle Dlamini had a great start on Thursday as the Ladies European Tour resumed action with the first round of the Aramco Saudi Ladies International at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia.

She carded three-under-par 69 to find herself four strokes off the lead held by Georgia Hall of England, with Wales’ Lydia Hall a shot further back on six-under. Two players were on five-under, and then came a group of three players on three-under, including Dlamini.

The Swazi player picked up all four of her birdies on the front nine – on one, and then three in a row from six to eight, and dropped just a single shot with a bogey six on the par-five 18th.

Lee-Anne Pace opened with a two-over 74, with one birdie, one bogey and a double-bogey six on the par-four fifth seeing her into a share of 36th. Stacy Bregman carded three-over, Nicole Garcia four-over and Casandra Hall six-over.
