Paula Reto got her 2021 Symetra Tour campaign off to a level-par start on Friday when she carded a 72 in the opening round of the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic.

She was in a share of 50th, seven off the pace set by France’s Celine Herbin.

Charl Schwartzel opened the Honda Classic on the PGA Tour with a level-par 70. Australia’s Matt Jones led at nine-under.

Erik van Rooyen was also level-par after the first round. Dylan Frittelli was five-over.

On the Korn Ferry Tour, Dawie van der Walt was one-under after the first round of the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, three behind the leaders. Tyrone van Aswegen was on level-par.
