Ashleigh Buhai carded a bogey-free two-under-par 69 on Thursday to climb into a share of 33rd in the LPGA Tour’s Hugel-Air Premia LA Open.

She goes into the final 36 holes 11 shots off the pace being set by leader Jessica Korda of the United States, who carded her 13th successive under-par round with her six-under 65. Korda is three shots clear of Jin Young Ko of South Korea, with another Korean, Sei Young Kim in third a further shot back.

Buhai was accurate off the tee all day, hitting 13 of 14 fairways, but she hit just 13 of 14 fairways.

Korda went bogey-free for her 65 at Wilshire Country Club to set the 36-hole tournament scoring record of 13-under 129. It is also the 19th time in 22 competitive rounds this year that Korda has shot even par or better.

If the scoring isn’t convincing enough of her consistency, Korda has hit 119 of 144 greens in regulation going back to the third round of the ANA Inspiration. That includes 33 greens out of 36 at Wilshire.
