Lee-Anne Pace was just two shots off the pace on Friday after the opening round of the Ladies European Tour’s Tipsport Czech Ladies Open at Golf Club Beroun in the Czech Republic after she signed for a four-under-par 68.
She went bogey-free while picking up shots on the seventh, 10th, 11th and 16th, and was in a share of eighth behind joint leaders Lydia Hall of Wales and Nuria Iturrioz of Spain. At six-under, they had a one-stroke lead over five players on five-under.
Nicole Garcia signed for a two-under 70 to be in a share of 36th, four off the lead, while Monique Smit was on one-under in a share of 52nd. Lejan Lewthwaite and Stacy Bregman were on two-over in 92nd in the 132-player field.
