Shaun Norris signed for his second successive two-under-par 70 on Saturday in the Japan Golf Tour’s Shigeo Nagashima Invitational Sega Sammy Cup at North Country Golf Club in Chitose, Japan.

Norris made three birdies and a bogey to move to eight-under for the tournament, a gaping 10 shots back from the lead which was held at 18-under by Kunihiro Kamii of Japan at 18-under after he posted a seven-under 65 to take a two-stroke lead over Kazuki Higa in to the final round.

Norris was in a share of 21st with, amongst others, Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent, who was one-under for 71 in his third round.

The South African currently lies 37th on the Japan Golf Tour money list. He has won five times on that tour, with his most recent triumph coming in May in the Golf Partner Pro-Am Tournament.
