Christiaan Bezuidenhout made seven birdies and two bogeys on Saturday on his way to a five-under-par 66 in the third round of the Albertsons Boise Open on the Korn Ferry Tour as he climbed inside the top 10.

Bezuidenhout is playing in the three-tournament Korn Ferry Finals series as he tries to finish inside the top 25 after the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Indiana from September 2-5.

He started strongly in his third round, making three birdies on one, three and four, but a bogey in six saw him turn in two-under 34. Another dropped shot on the 11th saw him slip back to one-under for the round, but birdies on 12, 14, 15 and 16 saw him move to 13-under for the tournament.

He was four behind tournament leader Scott Gutchewski of the United States, who had a one-stroke lead over Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand, American Kelly Kraft and England’s Ben Tayor. Aaron Rai of England was in fifth on 14-under, one clear of Bezuidenhout and five others in sixth.
