Shaun Norris closed with a one-under-par 70 on Sunday to finish in a share of fifth in the Japan Golf Tour’s Fujisankei Classic at Fujizakura Country Club in Yamanishi, Japan.
Norris made an eagle, three birdies and four bogeys as he moved to five-under-par for the tournament, seven strokes behind the winner Shuga Imahira, who won his fifth title on the tour with his 12-under-par total. Imahira won by four shots from Kenshiro Ikegami and Ryo Ishikawa.
One shot behind Norris on four-under and in a share of eighth was Scott Vincent, the Zimbabwean who won his maiden Japan Golf Tour title just last week.
Norris is now 26th on the Japan Golf Tour’s money list, and Vincent is 12th.
