Lee-Anne Pace got herself a top-10 finish on Sunday in the Ladies European Tour’s Estrella Damm Ladies Open at Club de Golf Terramar in Sitges, Spain as she closed with a three-under-par 69.

She made six birdies and three bogeys as she moved to two-under-par 214 for the 54-hole tournament. That gave her a share of 10th, six shots behind the winner Maja Stark of Sweden. Stark had a two-stroke margin over Pia Babnik of Slovenia, with Maria Hernandez of Spain, Finland’s Krista Bakker and Scot Kylie Henry on four-under in a share of third four shots behind Stark.

Pace, the reigning South African Women’s Open champion, made three birdies on the front nine, but dropped a shot just ahead of the turn on the ninth. She picked up two more strokes with birdies on 11 and 12, but bogeys on 14 and 15 slowed her progress. She got things back on track with a birdie on 16, and that took her home.

Stacy Lee Bregman carded a level-par 72 to close, and that took her to one-under for the tournament and a share of 14th.

First-round leader Nobuhle Dlamini of Swaziland was unable to repeat her early heroics, and she closed with a four-over 76 to finish on three-over for the tournament in a share of 30th.
