Stacy Lee Bregman carded a one-under-par 72 on Sunday to make the 72-hole cut of the Ladies European Tour’s Qualifying School Final Qualifier at Real Golf La Manga Club in Murcia, Spain and guarantee herself at least some status on the tour in 2022.
She made two birdies and one bogey in a steady round on the South Course to move to five-under for the tournament and a share of 46th with one round to go in the 90-hole marathon. For the first four rounds, competitors alternated between the North and South courses. The final round will be played on the South Course after the cut was made to 65 players and ties.
The top 20 players after 90 holes will get into category 11 on the LET, while those from 21-50th will be in category 15. Players finishing outside the top 50 will slot into category 18.
Meghan MacLaren of England continued her consistent form with a round of two-under-par 69 on the North Course. Sweden’s Lisa Pettersson, who won last week’s Pre-Qualifying, posted a round of three-under-par 70 on the South Course to move into second place.
The cut fell at eight-over with exactly 65 players making it through to the final day of competition.
