Sean Bradley won his first tournament back after an 11-month injury break on Thursday when he won the Bushveld Tour’s one-day event at Dainfern with a superb nine-under-par 63.

Bradley bested a strong field which included Sunshine Tour winners Jacques Blaauw, Merrick Bremner and Ruan de Smidt, as well as Dylan Naiddo and leading amateurs Yurav Premlall and Casey Jarvis.

He closed with an eagle to pull clear of Ryan van Velzen by two strokes. Dylan Mostert and Michael Kok shared third on six-under-par, with five players in a share of fifth on five-under. They were Jarvis, Naidoo, Bremner, Reinhardt Blaauw and Ricky Hendler.

Bradley turned in four-under-par 32, and then, as he was deadlocked with Van Velzen on seven-under with the last hole to play, he pulled the eagle out of the gag.
