James Kingston moved into a share of the lead on Saturday in the third round of the Legends Tour’s WINSTONgolf Senior Open in Vorbeck, Germany, with a two-under-par 70 taking hi, to five-under for the tournament.
Kingston had four birdies and two bogeys in his round, and he shared the lead with England’s Gary Evans and German legend Bernhard Langer. They were all a shot clear of Spaniard Jose Manuel Carriles and Richard Green of Australia.
Behind Kingston, Adilson Da Silva had a second round of two-over 74 to be in a share of 25th heading into the final round. Chris Williams was on eight-over after a seven-over 79 put him in 50th, and Clinton Whitelaw carded a 10-over 82 to slip to 54th on 13-over for the tournament.
