Lee-Anne Pace closed out yet another top-10 finish on the Ladies European Tour on Sunday when she carded a third-round three-under-par 66 to move to six-under for the tournament and a share of 10th in the Didrikson’s Skafto Open in Sweden.
Pace made two birdies in a row on the closing two holes to finish strongly, and was eventually four strokes behind the winner, the impressive Linn Grant of Sweden. Grant, who won three times on the Sunshine Ladies Tour earlier this year, went to her fourth LET title of the season with a closing one-under-par 68 to edge compatriot Lisa Pettersson by one stroke.
Pace started her final round with a bogey, but she quickly got things going in the right direction with three consecutive birdies from the fifth. She dropped shots again on the 10th and the 14th, with a birdie coming on the 13th. Then came her strong finish.
Nobuhle Dlamini of eSwatini closed with a one-over-par 70 to finish on three-over for the tournament in a share of 42nd.
