Casandra Alexander rounded out a solid week on Sunday with a one-under-par 71 to finish in a share of 16th in the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour co-sanctioned ISPS HANDA World Invitational presented by AVIV Clinics at Galgorm Castle Golf Club in Northern Ireland.
Alexander made five birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey in her final round to move to level-par for the tournament. That was eight shots out of the three-way play-off which was won by 19-year-old American Alexa Pano from Germany’s Esther Henseleit and Gabriella Cowley of England on the third extra hole.
It was Alexander’s seventh top 20 of the season on the Ladies European Tour, and it lifts her to 32nd on the Race to Costa del Sol rankings.
