Jacques Kruyswijk regained his DP World Tour playing rights on Wednesday when he finished in a share of 11th in the Qualifying School Final Stage at Infinitum Golf on the Lakes Course in Tarragona, Spain.

Kruyswijk was one of three South Africans who earned their cards, as veteran Darren Fichardt also regained his status on the DP World Tour with his share of 22nd, and two-time recent Sunshine Tour winner Pieter Moolman (below) capped off a run of recent good form with a ticket to a season of international golf with his share of 17th.

Also making it on to the bigger stage was Welshman Rhys Enoch (by way of Potchefstroom), who like Kruyswijk, has won the Cape Town Open. He was in a share of 22nd as the top 25 players and ties – 33 made it – qualified for the 2024 season.

Kruyswijk was bogey-free in his final round of the six-round marathon, with a three-under-par 68. Moolman had to overcome a shaky finish, with two bogeys and a double from the 12th to the 17th. He made birdie on 18, however, to make sure of his qualification. Fichardt made three birdies and a bogey in his 69, and Enoch birdied the final two holes to creep inside the cut-off line.
