Aldrich Potgieter kept himself in the hunt for a PGA Tour card on Wednesday with a three-under-par 69 in the second round of the Second Stage of the Q-School presented by Korn Ferry at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia.
He moved to eight-under-par through the first two rounds of the 72-hole event, one behind the leader, Dawson Armstrong of the United States.
He had three birdies in his first four holes, but they were interspersed with a double-bogey on the third. He also dropped a shot on the 12th, but he had gains on nine, 11 and 12.
