Aldrich Potgieter went back to the top of the leaderboard on Thursday after the third round of the Second Stage PGA Tour Q-School presented by Korn Ferry at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia.

Potgieter carded a four-under-par 68 with six birdies and two bogeys to move to 10-under through 54 holes, and, with one round to go, he was two strokes clear of Sudarshan Yellamaraju of Canada. The Canadian had the round of the day with his seven-under 65.

With 12 qualifiers and ties due to go through to Final Stage from December 14 – from where only the top three will get their PGA Tour cards – Potgieter really just needs to keep his head in the final round, as the four players in a share of 10th are all on four-under-par, six strokes behind him.

Potgieter made an early bogey on the third hole in his third round, but birdies on four, six and seven saw him turn in two-under-par. He bogeyed the 10th, but picked up shots on 11, 14 and 18.
