Werner Deyzel added a closing two-under-par 70 on Wednesday to his opening pair of five-under 67 at Kyalami Country Club to win his second consecutive event on the Bushveld Tour, the Race to Q-School #6.

He made three birdies and a bogey and then had to get through a play-off with Dylan O’Leary to take the title, after O’Leary had rounds of 65-68-71. Graham van der Merwe was third on nine-under-par, three shots out of the play-off.

Eric Wowor was fourth on eight-under after a closing 68, and Haydn Porteous and Basil Wright shared fifth after closing rounds of 67 and 68 respectively.

The win gave Deyzel the outright lead on the Race to Q-School Order of Merit in the 13-tournament series which will be followed by the Tour Championship on May 2 at Ebotse.
