Bogey-free Oosthuizen in share of 7th at halfway in International Series Oman

Louis Oosthuizen didn’t drop a shot on Friday on his way to a six-under-par 66 in the second round of the Asian Tour’s International Series Oman at Al Mouj Golf in Muscat, Oman.

He moved to seven-under at the halfway mark of the tournament, and a share of seventh place. He was four shots off the lead which was held by Chile’s Mito Pereira on 11-under, after he too had a six-under 66. In second place was Matthew Wolff, who raced to a nine-under-par 63 to move to 10-under. First-round leader David Puig of Spain slumped to a three-over 75 in the second round to be on four-under in a share of 25th.

Next best of the South Africans was Dean Burmester on six-under, after he posted a second consecutive three-under 69 to move into a share of 11th. Branden Grace was on four-under in 25th, and Jbe’ Kruger was on two-under in a share of 41st.

David Meyers, Ian Snyman, Charl Schwartzel and Jaco Ahlers all missed the cut.
