Four late bogeys hampered Bryce Easton’s efforts on Sunday as he carded a closing one-under-par 69 in the final round of the Challenge Tour’s Euram Bank Open at Golf Club Adamstal in Ramsau, Austria.
Without those bogeys which came on the stretch in the final six holes, Easton could have been inside the top five. At seven-under-par for the tournament, he instead finished in a share of 18th place, six strokes behind the winner.
Up front, it was England’s Frank Kennedy who closed with a one-over 71 to win his maiden Challenge Tour title at 13-under-par. That was one stroke clear of Nicolai von Dellinghausen of Germany.
Until the 13th hole in the final round, Easton had made five birdies and was challenging for the lead.
Justin Walters also closed with a one-under 69 to finish the week on five-under in a share of 31st. Robin Williams had a three-over 73 in the final round and was in a share of 45th on two-under. Rupert Kaminski was also three-over on the fourth round, and, at level-par, was in a share of 55th.
