Jaco Ahlers carded his only over-par round on Sunday as he finished in a share of 32nd in the Asian Tour’s Yeangder TPC at Linkou International Golf and Country Club in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Ahlers made two birdies and three bogeys in his final round as he finished the tournament on seven-under-par. That put him 14 shots behind the winner, Suteepat Prateeptienchai of Thailand, who led from start to finish and closed with a three-under-par 69. He was two shots clear of runner-up John Catlin of the United States, whose closing 65 fell short of pulling off a come-from-behind victory.

Ahlers finished a shot clear of fellow-South African Ian Snyman, who closed with a level-par 72 to stay at six-under in a share of 38th.

Jbe’ Kruger battled to a closing three-over-par 75 and finished in a share of 40th on five-over-par.
