Birdie run gives Pace share of 6th in LET’s Aramco Team Series in Shenzhen

A golden run of four birdies in her final six holes on Sunday gave Lee-Anne Pace a share of sixth in the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF–Shenzhen held at Mission Hills, China.

After turning in level-par with a birdie and a bogey in her first four holes, Pace started her birdie run on the 13th, and added the other three on 15 and 16 and 18 to sign for her third successive four-under-par 69. At 12-under for the week, and the team trophy under her belt, she finished seven strokes behind the winner.

Celine Boutier of France clinched her sixth title on the Ladies European Tour (LET) after securing a two-stroke victory over China’s Xiyu Lin with her closing seven-under-par 66. Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard shared third, three strokes back on 16-under-par.

Nicole Garcia and Casandra Alexander shared 45th on two-under-par after closing rounds of one-under 72 and one-over 74 respectively.
