Danielle du Toit stormed into the top 10 on Wednesday with a third round of six-under-par 67 in the Ladies European Tour’s Final Qualifier of Lalla Aicha Q-School at Royal Golf Marrakech and Al Maaden Golf Marrakech in Morocco.

Playing on the par-73 Al Maaden course, Du Toit went bogey-free to add to her opening round of one-under 72 on Al Maaden and one-under 71 for her second round on the par-72 Royal Golf layout. That took her to a 54-hole total of eight-under for the 90-hole qualifier. After 72 holes, the top 65 and ties go through to the final day. The final round will be played on Al Maaden Golf.

Du Toit, who gained LET status in the same event last year, is back to attempt to regain that status. The top 20 and ties will be assured of regular starts in the 2025 season.

She made three birdies on each of the nines in the third round, and was accurate into the greens as she hit 16 of 18 in regulation. It was also a solid putting display, with four of her five birdies coming from one-putts in a round in which she had 29 putts.

One of the second-round leaders was fellow-South African, the amateur Kaiyuree Moodley. She battled her way through the third round with two birdies and five bogeys in her three-over 75 on the Royal Golf course. She was, however, still inside the top 20 in a share of 20th on five-over through 54 holes.

Bianca Fernandez of Spain fired a six-under 67 on Al Maaden to lead by one stroke at 13-under.
