Danielle du Toit closed with a three-under-par 70 on Friday to lock up her Ladies European Tour playing privileges for 2025 in the final round of the Final Qualifier of Lalla Aicha Q-School on the Al Maaden Golf Marrakech course in Morocco.

It was the second year in a row that Du Toit pulled off the feat at the 90-hole marathon, and she finished the demanding week on 15-under-par in a share of eighth. And it was a testing final round for her, as she made two early bogeys, and then made two more on the back nine as well. But she made seven birdies, including two in a row on 17 and 18 to wrap up her week’s work.

She was one of 24 players who won their membership for the new season in Category 12. Amongst those who finished outside the top 20, but inside the top 50, amateur Kaiyuree Moodley was one who has gained membership in category 16, which gives her the opportunity of a smaller number of starts in 2025 should she take up membership. She closed with a level-par 73 for a total of five-under-par and a share of 41st.

The tournament was won by Ecuador’s Daniela Darquea, who closed with a five-under 68 to reach 24-under-par. She was one stroke ahead of Darcey Harry of Wales, with Polly Mack of Germany in third on 21-under.
